Jaimoukha. This CD contains songs, chants and instrumental melodies that
offer a fascinating insight into the richness of the ancient and traditional music
genres of the Circassian people. It also offers an added audio dimension to one
of the more exotic (and esoteric) languages in the world. The social and folkloric
contexts of the music pieces and the words of some of the songs and chants are
provided in the volume Circassian Culture and Folklore with ample cross-references.
